Promotion Announcement: Colonel Omar Nava

Colleagues and friends,

On Friday, 14 November 2025, we had the honor of celebrating with the presiding officer, BG Bill A. Soliz, the promotion of LTC Omar Nava to Colonel at Fort Knox, KY. A well-deserved and meaningful milestone for an exceptional officer.

We are incredibly proud of both of these outstanding leaders and their continued dedication to service, mentorship, and the advancement of military medicine.

Colonel Omar Nava currently serves as the USAR Reserve Corps Chief.

BG Bill A. Soliz serves as the Director of Operations, Plans, and Training (J 3/5/7) at the Defense Health Agency, and as the Chief of the Army Medical Specialist Corps.
