In Memory of Carol Ann Shank

Dear SAPA Members,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Shank, beloved wife of Stanley Shank, one of SAPA's original members. Carol was 83 years old and had been lovingly cared for at home by Stan during her battle with Alzheimer’s.

Stan and Carol shared an extraordinary 62 years of marriage, marked by love, devotion, and service. Stan has been an integral part of our SAPA community since the earliest days, serving as SAPA President three times and holding numerous other offices over the years. He is also one of the original five inductees into the SAPA Hall of Fame—a reflection of his unwavering dedication to our organization and the profession.

Honoring Carol's Memory

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Carol’s memory to one of the following causes:

• The Village Baptist Church
• The Alzheimer’s Association Eastern North Carolina Chapter

  Raleigh, NC 27612

SAPA will honor Carol's memory by sending a $150 benevolent contribution to these causes.
