CELEBRATING PA WEEK OCTOBER 6-12
Posted about 1 month ago by Tim Jayne
Dear Colleagues,
As we celebrate National PA Week, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible dedication, resilience, leadership, and expertise each of you brings to the field of medicine. Being a PA is not just a profession; it’s a commitment to serve, to heal, and to lead in both military and civilian environments.
This week is about celebrating you—the PAs who work tirelessly to make a difference, whether on the battlefield, in clinics, or in hospitals across the world. It’s about recognizing your adaptability, your ability to lead and manage complex medical situations, and your drive to constantly improve patient outcomes.
The profession has come a long way, and SAPA is proud to be part of that journey, advocating for the advancement of the PA role in military medicine. This year, we’ve made great strides through continued professional development and the strengthening of our community. Our collective efforts are shaping the future of military medicine and the PA profession at large.
As we reflect on the progress made and the work still to be done, I encourage you all to take pride in the impact you’ve had and will continue to have. PA Week is a time for each of us to celebrate our profession, to share our stories, and to inspire the next generation of PAs. Whether through mentoring, education, or simply leading by example, your influence is profound.
Thank you for your service, your dedication, and your commitment to excellence. Let’s continue to push boundaries and set new standards for what PAs can achieve.
Happy PA Week!
With gratitude and respect,
LTC(P) Tim Jayne
President, SAPA
